1 out of 5 stars DOES NOT WORK WITH VISTA   December 29, 2008
Bob Ford (ORANGE COUNTY CALIFORNIA)
If you have Vista as your operating system DO NOT buy this product. IT WILL NOT WORK WITH VISTA.

It worked with XP but when I bought a new computer with Vista, it would not work. I tried calling tech support and got the run around. They told me to go to their web site and download the updated Vista version. I did and there Vista version did not work and I could not make it work no matter what I tried.

I live fairly closes to their headquarters in Cerritos California so I just droped by one day and asked for help. The only person there was someone who answered the phones. She know nothing about the products. When I asked when someone would be there that could help me get the product running on Vista, I was told one person comes in about once a weeek to pick up their paycheck and there was no set time for him to do that.

If you buy the product, YOU WILL NOT GET ANY SUPPORT.

Doesn't work in Vista. Tried ADS support, still doesn't work. Crashes Vista to reboot. AVOID.

This product works well. However the support in getting it to work with Vista was not so good. The instrcutions for downloading and installing vista drivers were not very good. Also in using vista some of the features were not usable. The overall funtionally is very good however.

2 out of 5 stars 2 years review   November 13, 2008
A. Doron
Well, after more than 2 years of use all I can say that the S-Video input didn't work from day one.
All my tries to get a signal threw it not worked.
So I'm using only the Composite input. Capturing straight to DIVX (My premier rezone for the buy) didn't work on my 2Ghz Pentium. Only when I got my new Core2 (about A year ago) the divx is working, but you have limited options configuring it. So I mainly capturing to MPEG2 and convert to divx with VirtualDub.

4 out of 5 stars this is okay   October 15, 2008
L. Davis (Phily,pa)
this software is alright I ran into problems with the video skipping and freezing and audio issues...it's not the best but it's ok...I had to develop a method of editing because of all the skipping...but it's weird sometimes I don't have the problem....when I first got it the only problem I had was the audio being out of sync
