Excellent March 2, 2010 Jex500 (Atlanta, Georgia) The X-240 are currently hooked up to my PC and PS3. The speakers are fairly easy to setup. These speakers are above the average speaker. They are extremely better than TV Built-In speakers. I recommend buying these speakers, especially for the use with a Playstation 3. These speakers are also of great use when it comes to ZUNE, Ipods, PSP, and other portable media devices.
love my sound February 26, 2010 Matthew Ruiz (NYC) I love the sound that this system puts out.. Great bass quality... good buy for the price...
Great sound for the money February 6, 2010 Sage Hunter (PacNW) If you don't want to spend a lot of money, this is a great little stereo plus woofer system.
Great product February 5, 2010 Oleksandr Yanevskyy (Illionis, USA) Very easy to use. Sound is very good for this system. One thing bugs me is the Ipod dock - plastic part is not that good.
Great value for the price January 7, 2010 Bunsen Burner Plug it in, connect to your computer or MP3 player, turn it on - decent quality sound comes out, and that was all I was looking for. It doesn't take up much room on the desktop, the cables are long enough to allow me to place all the components in convenient places, and the sound quality is good enough for me (at age 61, my hearing may not allow me to notice any sonic shortcomings).
My only comment is the cheesy MP3 player "holder" on the control unit. It's not a real dock, it's a little platform that you can rest the player on, and there are little adapters that let you attach the player cable so the player can charge or sync while it's sitting on the platform. You'll need to plug the speakers into the player's headphone jack. At this price point, perhaps a real dock isn't possible.
