2 out of 5 stars Mac Compatibility Issues   November 20, 2008
M. Delaney (Woodbridge, VA USA)
When using this mouse with the latest version of OSX on an Aluminum iMac, the cursor behaved erratically especially when using iPhoto. An example of this is when manually correcting red eye, the circle cursor would not always appear. Guess I will have to go with the wireless Mighty Mouse.

5 out of 5 stars Bluetooth Mouse   November 19, 2008
Paul J. Orchard (Coos Bay, OR USA)
I received this item fast and in great condition from Amazon.com. I hooked it up and it works flawlessly. It is everything that I was looking for and more. I was so very happy to have found it at such a low price after shopping around, and getting free shipping to boot! Thanks so much Amazon.com.

4 out of 5 stars Almost perfect mouse   November 19, 2008
Gerard Torres (Tucson, AZ)
I like this mouse because it is a [good] Bluetooth notebook mouse, which are few and far between. It's small size makes it convenient to transport with my laptop, which is important for those who are always moving. And being that it's a laser mouse, it works flawlessly on many surfaces, including my carpet and even my lap, which adds to the on-the-go convenience this device offers.

Since it's Bluetooth and my notbook has Bluetooth connectivity, there is nothing to attach to the notbook itself, such as a USB adapter that would be required of other types of wireless devices. The Bluetooth communication also works at great distances from the computer, such as across the room, which allows for remote-like usage when doing things such as listening to music or watching a movie.

A few flaws that I've encountered with this purchase would not have stopped me from buying it had I known about them beforehand. First, the wheel is not as fluent as I'd like, which is only a very small annoyance. Second, the third button on the left side was easy to accidently press with my thumb, acting as a 'back' button when navigating websites. Although this was annoying at first, I was able to slightly adapt the way I hold the mouse and it is rarely an issue anymore.

Considering the price, size, and ease of use, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a simple and portable Bluetooth solution.

4 out of 5 stars nice value   November 19, 2008
Turbo (Augusta, GA)
The mouse feels a bit cheap but that why I bought it over the mighty mouse. Works well but does not feel as solid as my microsoft presenter mouse 8000. I don't like how the batteries are installed in the unit and there is no instructions that tell you that you need to download drivers from the web site to get the back button to work on the MAC. As you may have notice with the previous statement... there is no CD included. Also if it matters to you the mouse wheel does not have the tilt left and right function, Go with the presenter 8000 for that. For the money it would be hard to beat so it is a great buy.

3 out of 5 stars Not too bad, but...   November 18, 2008
D. Decker (Pittsburgh, PA)
PROS:
1) The configuration panel (Mac OS X) is very useful for programming the buttons.
2) Battery life is decent
3) It's a mouse... what else can I say?

CONS:
1) The shape takes some getting used to. It's ever so slightly flared out at the bottom which is a little awkward.
2) The scroll wheel on this mouse is awful. It jumps over large amounts of screen space. Slowing down the movement of the scroll wheel doesn't work in making it jump less. It's like there are hitches in the scroll wheel that it has to jump to. Quite frustrating when you are trying to do precision work.
3) The scroll wheel again! If you try to scroll quickly, nothing happens. It's like spinning your tires in a car if you press on the accelerator too hard.
