Rattling sound September 8, 2008 H. Klein (CA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
The lower strings create a rattling sound as you strike them. I've never experienced this before with other strings. So I thought these strings are perhaps too soft and hit the frets, but that's clearly not the case. A musician friend of mine confirmed the same impression. I have to conclude it's the strings that are rattling. I'm disappointed.
Martin SP guitar strings September 4, 2008 Kathryn Scott 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
A great product. Has a good tone and strings last for a long time. Never had any breakage even of the G string that always seems to break
Great strings August 13, 2008 Robert F. Booth (Liberty, Tx) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these strings because of their name, and when I put them on, I received a fabulous sound.
Great Strings - Great Price! June 16, 2008 Rick C. Evans (Jensen Beach, FL) I purchased 18 sets of Martin SP Phosfer Bronze Medium Guage Guitar strings. This Venders price was seriously lower than anyone else. So I was a little nervious purchaseing from them. But I won't be nervious in the future. The Vender's service was excellent. Fast shipping - Lowest price - Great product. I will do it again.
Great sound, good life span March 19, 2008 J. Scott Moore (Longmont, CO USA) Most guitarists I know tend to buy the typical 80/20 phosphor bronze strings. These are 92/8 phosphor bronze and it really does make for a nicer sounding string. The unwound E and B strings are bronzed. If you aren't into the nano-webb strings (I'm not)to get long life out of your strings, try these, the do last longer than the 80/20's. I use these on my D style as well as a Martin OOO, sound great on both for bluesy, fingerstyle playing. Keep on pickin'!!
