Product Description Everything old is new again. Here's your opportunity to play and renew your records. The ION TTUSB05 is the perfect turntable for archiving and digitizing your vinyl music collection. USB connectivity simplifies conversion directly into your computer. You can now listen to your favorite music on CDs or portable media players. The ION TTUSB05 even features a standard RCA line output for connecting to your home stereo or home-theater system with no hassles.
EZ Vinyl Converter (PC) and EZ Audio Converter (Mac) are included with the TTUSB05 and provide the easiest way to convert your records to your computer's digital music library.
The iTTUSB05 is ideal for people using traditional home stereo racks who are looking for a way to play their albums while also archiving and digitizing their vinyl music collection. The slim chassis and front-facing controls allow the iTTUSB05 to fit easily into existing stereo set-ups, and an integrated USB port makes it simple to hook up the device to a PC or Mac for quick vinyl conversion to MP3 digital audio.

ion turntable January 7, 2009 Hannah S. Mays (Cookeville, TN USA) This has become one of my son's favorites as he is having fun converting all his parents' old lps. It does the job. Our only problem is the iTunes program to convert back to CDs. We haven't figure that out yet.
Large Disappointment December 31, 2008 Jerald D. Coffell (Everett, WA. USA) Very unhappy with product. Does not provide good quality sound and itself is of very poor quality. The unit I received as a gift was missing a part. Without a receipt I am out of luck. Even providing serial number got me no where. Use caution when puchasing this brand and make certain you are aware of return policies and warranties. (you very likely will need them)
Mac Users Beware December 29, 2008 Higgmerr (San Diego) This thing is marketed as Mac-compatible. The product description, the labeling on the install CD and the product manual all refer to an "EZ Audio Converter" software for the Mac version. Too bad nothing with that name is actually contained on the software CD! The only thing that installed for me was the advanced "Audacity" software (a fitting name), which has left supporting files spread all over my Applications folder, but which includes nothing that actually launches the program when clicked. Is it possible that the CD is faulty, or that if I called the company looking for tech support they'd help me get it up and running? Doubt it, as there doesn't appear to be a 1-800 number included on any of the documentation. If fast, easy set-up is a factor in your decision to purchase this item, DON'T!
usb turntable amature December 19, 2008 clearplay fan (Salt Lke City, UT) This product comes with software that is very difficult to use. Unless you have other a/v capturing software already, you will probably find this difficult to use.
Easy to Use, No Problems December 17, 2008 exerciseathomefan (Colorado) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This item was easy to use right out of the box. No problems or hassles with installing the software. Just follow the directions!! There is an insert for Windows and Windows Vista people to follow with additional instructions. This was easier to use than my upgraded iPod. Would recommend.
