these clips are fairly small (probably about an inch and a half tall and a little less than an inch wide), but they do a great job of gripping and they look pretty sweet, too.
i haven't tried them on bags or kitchen items (i have bigger clips i prefer to use for those), but i have been using these to keep curtains held together when i need to block out light. the clips are very small and stylish, so they accomplish my specific purpose quite nicely. recommended!

One of those products I had no idea I needed until I bought a set. Nice clip with a strong magnet. I now have 4 sets. I bought 2 sets to give as Christmas presents but decided to keep them for myself so I'll always had one handy. I use them for any opened bag in the kitchen that needs sealed like chips or crackers, lettuce bags, holding things to the fridge (calendar, pictures, reminders, coupons). I have one on the front door to hold the mail that needs to go out, very good for holding Netflix DVDs from the empty side. They have a strong grip and if you fold a bag over they seal very well. I keep the ones not being currently used on the side of the refridgerator, much better than the plastic chip clips that you need to store in a drawer and rummage through to find.

I was skeptical when these clips arrived but now like them much more than I thought I would. Basically, we leave them attached to the side of the fridge. They work for hanging things like bibs from. They are also readily available for keeping chips bags closed, hanging kids art, etc. Highly recommended.
