great knife set September 7, 2008 S. Bower This is a very good deal for two top quality knives and scissor set. Excellent for cutting fruit and vegetables for salads. The small knife has a serated edge while the larger has a smooth blade. I would recommend for anyone who needs some high quality pairing knives.
Mistake September 7, 2008 Silvana (who knows?) Did not realize this was a stamped chepie set. Price was good, quality of product weas not.
GREAT SET...... September 1, 2008 Ris ..Although the scissors came apart it was an easy fix and now there are no issues. I love the sharpness of the knives and they are perfect for everyday cooking. With it being a Lightning Deal, it was so worth it!
A Steal for $49.99 August 10, 2008 alan_in_la (Los Angeles, California USA) At $49.99, this is a no-brainer. The 4.5" knife fills the void between paring and chef's/santoku knives. The description doesn't say it, but the paring knife is serrated - nice, because my other paring knives aren't serrated. I already had the Wusthof scissors, so these will be gifted to some fortunate friend.
Quality Knife Set August 9, 2008 Mark1City (USA) Purchased for my wife, the cook in the family. She appreciates quality pots, pans, knives, etc., and gives these items A+ ratings. They are everything JargonTalk described! And the Gold Box price was a great deal!
