1 out of 5 stars Anti-American Communist Propaganda   August 27, 2008

This album is nothing but an attempt to indoctrinate youth into the self-destructive, communist, anti-American, anti-prosperity cult of global warming. The song "Wake up America" reads like an environazi rally from the most extremist liberal lunatics imaginable. Yet despite this and other pieces of propaganda released by the global warming fascists, there is no scientific proof or scientific consensus on man-made global warming.

It's time to wake up America - you are being swindled by liberals like Cyrus and her liberal media overlords at Disney. This album is brought to you by the same company that refuses to release the "Path to 9/11" DVD. Disney is willing to release Soviet-style global warming propaganda, but not the definitive account of the events leading up to 9/11. Funny how that works.

One star for a failed attempt at brainwashing America.

4 out of 5 stars Awesome   August 26, 2008

4 out of 5 stars Breakout Miley Cyrus CD   August 26, 2008
Y. Barnes (WA, Aus)
I purchased this item for my daughter and she was quite pleased with it. We recieved it in the mail about 3 weeks before the estimated arrival date. However, the CD case was broken and had a crack on the back of it. The CD works but sometimes it plays up. I suspect it just got knocked about in the post but other then that we are happy about it. Thankyou for your services!

3 out of 5 stars Concerned for her Younger Fans   August 26, 2008

I actually don't think it's a horrible album, but it's just so weird. The majority of people who buy this album are going to be 8 year olds, and all the songs on the album sound like they're for at least... 14 year olds. Umm.. I know that she's not ACTUALLY hannah montana, but she sounds a lot better being her, and her fans are going to expect her to sing some songs with pop in them, not just depressing songs that are so obviously about nick jonas, which in and of itself is disturbing.

5 out of 5 stars Not exactly breaking out yet, but its all good!   August 26, 2008
Horacio Buenrostro Jr. (Arizona)
I don't listen to Miley Cyrus expecting deep lyrics or even really great music, I expect to listen to sappy but catchy pop, and this is exactly that (maybe even taking it a step further into good sap).

1. Breakout- A song that I thought was just mediocre at first but now I find the chorus to this song being stuck in my head. Now it is definately one of my favorites. Really cheesey lyrics but in a good way. My friends are just taken aback when I randomly say "Let go- oh- oh" in the middle of conversations. 9/10

2. 7 Things -
Really good production and instrumentation, and Mileys vocals are perfect for this type of song. 9.5/10

3. The Driveway - You can hear a bit of country twang in Miley's vocals in this song which is really fun. An enjoyable song whose chorus feels like something fresh and new. However inventive this song might be, I might find myself skipping through this track at times. 8/10

4. Girls Just Wanna Have Fun - Some might say this cover is unecessary, but this song has the "girl power" message that most of Miley's songs try to send out. I'm sure Miley must've had fun recording this song and is a Cyndi Lauper fan. An okay song. 7.5/10

5. Full Circle - One of my favorite songs on the album. Here is where we see Miley's possible future as an excellent songwriter, but shes not quite there yet as she did not write this song all by herself. The bridge to this song is what really took me by surprise and made me fall in love with this song. If you want to know why just listen to the "I'll keep on running 'till we meet in the middle / I'll put pride aside and I'll give just a little". Miley might not have the best vocals but her mannerisms and ad-libs more than make up for it, as she ends up sounding like something that would make Stevie Nicks jealous. 10/10

6. Fly On The Wall - My favorite track on the album. Great lyrics, great production, inventive chorus, just all around a very well put together song. Again, the bridge to this song only adds to my love for this song. She screeches out a very un-disney-like bridge, and the first time you hear it you are caught by surprise. Ill keep it that as you must listen to this song for yourself, I have converted many Miley "haters" with this song alone. 10/10

7. Bottom of The Ocean - Showcases Miley's nasally vocals, but the lyrics are better than your average pop fodder. Then I heard this song was about her dead goldfish? It's obviously about Nick. An okay song. 7/10

8. Wake Up America - Good message to Cyrus's younger fans, catchy, first time I heard it, Miley's vocals reminded me of the lead from NOFX. 9/10

9. These Four Walls - Eh. It can be a little too country for me, but I still find myself singing it from time to time. This might be my least favorite track on the album. 6.5/10

10. Simple Song - Very good lyrics, too bad Miley has no credit on them. Catchy and it has a meaning. 9.5/10

11. Goodbye - Very impressed with Miley's vocals in the chorus, but leading up to the chorus can be very nasally and breathy. I'll let it pass because she puts true emotion in to this song and the lyrics are very heartfelt. One of my favorites! 10/10
