This topical flea treatment stops fleas before they become a problem. Providing a full month of protection, it begins working in minutes, killing 98-100% of the fleas on cats within 12 hours, and 99% of flea larvae within 20 minutes. Plus, since dead fleas can't lay eggs and dead larvae can't hatch, the flea's life cycle is halted. Any new fleas your cat encounters are killed within two hours--preventing re-infestation for as long as four weeks. In fact, Advantage does such a good job breaking the flea's life cycle, there's no need to treat your cat's environment. Applied before the start of flea season, it helps keep your cat from becoming infested in the first place. Hazards to Humans:

Hazards to Domestic Animals:
For external use only. Do not use on kittens under eight weeks of age. As with any product, consult your veterinarian before using this product on debilitated, aged, pregnant or nursing animals. Individual sensitivities, while rare, may occur after using ANY pesticide product for pets. If signs persist, or become more severe, consult a veterinarian immediately. First Aid:
If in eyes: Hold eyelids open and flush with plenty of water. Get medical attention if irritation persists.

After trying several other products, Advantage worked and took care of my cat's fleas and flea dust in one or two days. I haven't had a breakout since.

I had used other products (Frontline/frontline plus) for about 3 months with no relief. However, after the first dose of Advantage the flea problem in my house and on my cat was much better. Now, about one month out, both my cat and home are flea free.The product is easy to use and was well tolerated by my cat and I will definitely use in the future.

Advantage for cats is a great product and Amazon had the best price at the time I made my purchase. There were other vendors who were cheaper but they weren't selling the USA product. My vet cautioned me about using the product that was produced in other countries and then imported. They may be as good as the real deal or they may not be -- I don't want to take a chance with my little girl.

what can I say? I ordered it through Amazon, it was cheaper, worked better than Frontline, and cat is still flea and tick free, and there are no problems, and I saved about $20. I only had to click one time on amazon, and it shows up, I put it on the cat. All told it couldn't have taken more than 10 minutes from ordering to flea free cat. I guess this is a review and comment about the total ease in using Amazon.com. Will certainly use again. Thank you.
