If you use the Cat Genie Cat Box (sold separately) for a maintenance-free, odor-free, and germ-free cat environment, you'll need to replace its Sani-Solution Smart Cartridge after each 60 washings. This kit includes 6 cartridges that each dispense the exact amount of sanitizing solution needed to decontaminate Granules and Genie Bowl and to keep the CatGenie running properly. Made with same ingredients used by veterinarians to sterilize their exam and operating areas, each Sani-Soultion Smart Cartidge will even alert you when the solution runs low. The Sani-Solution Smart Cartridge can also be purchased individually or in a 3-pack. Extra Cat Genie Washable Granules are also available and sold separately.

Works well, however, you have no alternative but buy this product. You must have it our your cat genie will not work. How about working on a way to refill this product as you can printer ink cartridges. I am thinking about coming up with a method of doing this. So why not save me the headaches and you do it. I'll buy it. I am sure that someone will do this in the near future. Take my word for it. In these tough times some one will beat you to the punch if you are not quick about it. Don't think I am the only one thinking about this!

Owners of the Cat Genie system soon realize the necessity of replenishing the Sani-Solution. Keeping an adequate supply on hand is essential to its operation. Don't get caught without an extra replacement cartridge unless you want to dig out the old litter box for a time. Unfortunately, most stores don't carry the replacement cartridges so the wise move is to be prepared.

this cartridges last up to 6 month, I have to cats and I run my cat genie twice a day. I am saving more money than buying it one or three at the time.

The Cat-Genie Sani-Solution Smart Cartridge and cat litter is quite expense; so I did a price comparison on them before I made my purchase. I was not surprised to find that Amazon.com had the best prices over all.

I loved this litter box and the liquid until the box stopped working. I have not had it a year and it was expensive, so I guess I'll have to stick to scoop out litter. I wouldn't recommend it because it didn't last.
